Hi, my name is Katelyn Thomas and I am a senior at Perry High School. I am your 2023-2024 Ohio Educators Rising President. In my free time I enjoy snow skiing and boarding, along with wake boarding, wake surfing, and reading when I can find a good book. I enjoy playing rugby for my schools team, and I work at plato's closet during the winter and spring. I do not yet know where I plan on going to college to continue with my degree.

Hi my name is Lauren Falb. I am a senior at Wayne County Schools Career Center and I am your 2023-2024 Vice President of Programs and Regional Representatives. In my free time I enjoy reading and being outside. I work at the Bright Horizons Developmental Child Care Center. I plan on attending North Central State College to pursue my Associate Degree in Education.

Hi! My name is Mackenzie Gnap. I am a Senior at the Wayne County Schools Career Center and I am your 2023-2024 Vice President of Membership and Recruitment. I am a Varsity Soccer player for the Lady Chipps Soccer team. I am also an Online Shopper and a Caterer for Buehler's Fresh Foods. I plan on going to the University of Akron to pursue my degree in Education. After I get my degree, I would like to teach Kindergarten.

Hi! My name is Ke’Arra Harper. I am a senior at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center and your 2023-2024 Educators Rising Ohio Vice-President of Competitions and Community Service. My plan is to major in elementary childhood education with the ultimate goal of teaching elementary school and shortly after become a principal. I am in National Honor Society, on the cheer team, and I'm class vice-president. I recently completed nail school and love being creative with my designs. I enjoy shopping, babysitting, and having bonding time with my family. I am known for my positive attitude, great mindset, and always being a caring person. I am looking forward to completing my Educators Rising duties and I'm excited about my future experiences, including getting my degree! I am undecided on the college I will attend, but I will be making a decision soon.

Hello, my name is Trenton Nickels and I’m a senior at Perry High School. I am your 2023-2024 Ohio Educators Rising Vice-President of Competitions and Community Service. In my free time I enjoy playing Fantasy Football, Volunteering, and playing tennis. I’m my Speech and Debate team's president and went to states last year. I'm also my Tennis team's captain. I would like to get my bachelor's degree in Education. I am uncertain what level I would like to teach.

Hi! My name is Lexi Lieb, and I am your Public Relations Secretary. I am a senior at Gahanna Lincoln High school and want to teach early elementary in the future. I like to paint and swim, and I teach swim lessons. I plan on attending either Ohio State University or Ohio University.

Hi! I am Alexis Evans. I'm a senior at WCSCC and Rittman High School and I am your 2023-2024 state Recording Secretary. In my free time I work at the Rittman Rec Center, watch my younger brother, and do whatever random thing that interests me. I spend lots of time working at my dad’s church in the youth ministries. I would love to go to the University of Akron to specialize in early childhood education.
